I’d been feeding the wrong hunger.
My body was full.

that same small owl

彼はゆっくりと、静かに食べていた。
「まだ……お腹すいてないの？」と聞いた。
彼は僕を見て言った。

僕は、間違った飢えを満たしていたんだ。
体は満たされていた。
でも、心は……ずっと空っぽだった。
