This is the full script from the YouTube & Podcast episode “Not Quite Here ― The Misunderstanding of Being Positive ―“
Introduce:
She is building something now, day by day.
Uncertain, but okay with the way she lives.
But not long ago, she was different.
She was reaching for flight, before learning how to walk.
This is her story. In her own words.
Section1. Fu’s Sanctuary
Hello… this is Fu.
From here on, welcome to my sanctuary.
Step away from the noise of everyday life,
… the soft rustle of my wings.
As you breathe in rhythm with me,
let something inside you soften.
Please, take your time…
and join me whenever you need.
—
The story I share is not mine alone.
It passes through me,
and one day, it may pass through you too.
This is a place where you don’t need to rush for answers.
I plant small seeds,
and wait quietly
until the day you need them.
Let me share something with you ―
a story from Fudego, the one who created this place.
Take a step back with me ―
to a time when she was not quite here
Section 2: Reaching for Flight Before Learning to Walk
She was trying to fly
before she learned how to walk.
There was a time when she chased the future,
looking for shortcuts,
believing that one day
everything would suddenly change.
She spent so much time on that belief ―
rarely looking at what was right in front of her.
Section 3: She Had No Choice But to Believe
Reality was tight.
She knew things would get harder
if nothing changed.
But to keep moving forward,
the only way she knew
was to keep looking at the future.
She tried twice ―
posting intensely on social media,
chasing the possibility of going viral,
hoping a small miracle would help with the bills.
Even the AI she used told her it wasn’t realistic.
Both times.
She pushed through anyway.
It still fell apart.
But she had no choice
but to believe
that somehow, things would work out.
Section 4: The Misunderstanding of Being Positive
Her body was here.
But her mind was always somewhere else ―
already in the future.
In a way, she was positive.
Things would get better, she was sure of it.
So she didn’t hold on to the present.
Her body wasn’t feeling the present either.
Her breathing was shallow.
She wasn’t breathing through her nose.
Her body was tense.
Her shoulders had been stiff for years ―
and she hadn’t even noticed.
The misunderstanding of being positive.
Things will get better.
She could keep going ―
even with nothing to show for her years.
Back then, she always ended with the same words:
“It’ll work out.”
“I’m fine.”
“Someday.”
“So let’s keep going.”
Section 5: The Ground Feels Steadier Now
The world has always been uncertain.
Before, the self she wanted to be
was always looking ahead,
waiting for something to suddenly change.
But the self she actually was
already knew ―
what mattered was building something here,
day by day.
They were facing different directions.
But little by little,
as she began to choose the present,
they began to face the same way.
She still feels uncertain.
She still doesn’t know what lies ahead.
But it’s not resignation.
She’s beginning to feel okay
with the way she’s chosen to live.
That’s how it feels now.
And that is enough for today.
If something moved inside you today,
even just a little,
I hope you will simply stay with that feeling for a while…
or breathe together with me, just a little longer.
Today, too,
Fu is here.
