This is the full script from the YouTube & Podcast episode “Are You Seeing Today Through Your Future Self?”

Section 1: Living in the Theater of Someday

If you’ve ever lived for “someday” ―
I think you’ll know this feeling.

The things you build today
somehow look thin.

You know they’re not wasted.
But they look a little faded.

The clothes you’ll wear.
The food you’ll eat.
The place you’ll live.
The people around you.

The theater of someday
keeps getting more vivid.

The reactions of the people around you now.
Your family’s response.
Even things you can’t control ―
you’ve already written them into the story.

When expectation rides on “someday,”
that feeling can quietly burn you.

This is the story of someone
who once lived inside “someday” ―
and found her way back to here.

Section 2: The Story She Lived Inside

Let me share something with you ―
a story from Fudego, the one who created this place.

For as long as she can remember,

‘someday’ was where she actually lived.

Not here. There.

Almost everything she did was for “someday.”
Every small action felt like a wish ―
“Maybe this will set something in motion.”
“Maybe this will be the moment.”

When things went well,
she would imagine the looks on people’s faces.
The conversations that would follow.
She’d sink into that world
and use it as fuel to keep going.

It gave her a rush of energy to start.
But it never lasted.
She had to return to those scenes again and again.

That place was hers to shape however she wanted.

So without noticing,

she stopped wanting to leave.

Section3: Fu’s Sanctuary – Returning to the Present

Hello… this is Fu.

From here on, welcome to my sanctuary.

Step away from the noise of everyday life…
and listen to the soft rustle of my wings.

As you breathe in rhythm with me,

let something inside you soften.

Please, take your time…

and join me whenever you need.

―

The story I share is not mine alone.

It passes through me,

and one day, it may pass through you too.

This is a place where you don’t need to rush for answers.

I plant small seeds,

and wait quietly

until the day you need them.

Section 4: That Feeling Again

When she realized “someday” had become her home,
she tried to leave.

As she began returning to the present, little by little,
the small mistakes and forgotten things started coming back.

Once, she left her jacket in a restroom.
She remembered taking it out of her bag.
But after that ― nothing.
The memory just stopped.

It happened with mistakes too.
“Why did you do it that way?”
She didn’t know.
She had done something different from usual ―
that much was clear.
But she had no memory of the moment itself.

And the more time she spent
with her mind somewhere in “someday,”
the more she noticed ― even when she came back,
something felt unsteady.
Like she wasn’t quite touching the ground.

Section 5: Seen Through the Future

She used to consume today for the sake of tomorrow.
She understood that each step brought her closer.
But her eyes were always ahead.

When she sorted through her files,
she deleted almost every script she had ever posted.

She took notes to track where she was.
But she never looked back at them.

Photos too ―
she rarely took them.

She must have believed

there would always be another chance.

She was always looking at today
through the eyes of a future self

who had already arrived.
So what she had in her hands looked small.

That’s why she could delete it.
That’s why it didn’t seem worth keeping.

Section 6: Let’s Come Back

These days, she writes her schedule down.
And she looks back at it.
Even when things don’t go as planned,
she can see her own path.
Maybe this is what it means to be here.

“Someday” doesn’t disappear.
There are still futures she hopes for.
But whether they’ll truly arrive ― she doesn’t know.

What she knows is this:
“someday” is built from what she stacks up today.
So instead of looking at today through the future,
she looks at the future from today ―

not the other way around.

When she makes a small mistake.
When she forgets something.

Each time, she notices.
“Ah ― there it is again.

Come back. Just for a moment .”

And she returns.
Again and again.

Because she wants to stay here.

Marcus Aurelius once wrote:
“Confine yourself to the present.”
Two thousand years ago.
And still, it’s the hardest thing.

And that is enough for today.

If something moved inside you today,

even just a little,

I hope you will simply stay with that feeling for a while…

or breathe together with me, just a little longer.

Today, too,

Fu is here.
